The Council on Aging will present Lake County’s 18th edition of March for Meals on Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 8 am to 10 am at the Great Lakes Mall in Mentor.

March for Meals isn't just a fundraiser — it's a lifeline. With your unwavering support, we can continue delivering vital nutrition and warm smiles to Lake County’s seniors, combatting isolation among our cherished older adults with every step we take together. This Lake County event will be one of hundreds of local programs across the country that reach out to their communities to build support for Meals on Wheels.  The Council on Aging needs the community to take part in the fundraiser to help support an ever-growing number of seniors reaching out for nutritional support.  Home delivered meal services not only provide a nutritious meal, but also a friendly visit and safety check by one of the agency’s dedicated meal delivery volunteers.

Join us as we kick off the excitement with our online raffle sales starting March 1st! Then, gather at the Great Lakes Mall for a morning of movement and community spirit. Registration opens at 8:00 AM, with the walk beginning promptly at 8:45 AM. Our one-mile indoor loop offers the flexibility to walk as much or as little as you'd like, making it perfect for participants of all ages and abilities.
